Fiebig<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Im&amp;ExportMoves\u00a0is a transcultural theatre and dancing project.\u00a0With the aid of drama and contemporary West African dancing elements, it creates a space of intercultural encounter and exchange\u00a0between people with a wide range of origins. For seven months, the participants examined societal and inter-human topics in an interdisciplinary context and developed a play which they\u00a0presented at the \u201cFestspielhaus\u00a0Hellerau\u201d\u00a0\u2013\u00a0European Centre for the Arts,\u00a0Dresden.\u00a0Im&amp;ExportMoves\u00a0is a cooperation scheme between the \u201cFestspielhaus\u00a0Hellerau, Dresden\u201d\u00a0and the\u00a0\u201cVerein\u00a0Afropa\u00a0e. V.\u201d which was developed and is directed by Olga Feger.\u00a0For this production, she brought together an international team of directors consisting of artists some of whom had a migration history or experience as a refugee of their own.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What have you taken home from this project for your artistic activities?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This work showed me even more clearly how important it is to create and maintain a protected space as a basis for a creative process \u2013\u00a0and\u00a0just how much more exciting live acting is in comparison to artisanal perfection.\u00a0The interdisciplinary fusion of\u00a0dancing, drama and music as well as the different ways of working in the international team were also very fulfilling for my work as an artist.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Im&amp;ExportMoves Im&amp;ExportMoves\u00a0is a transcultural theatre and dancing project.\u00a0With the aid of drama and contemporary West African dancing elements, it creates a space of intercultural encounter and exchange\u00a0between people with a wide range of origins.
